We don’t offer international calling, but your phone works anywhere in the world where there’s WiFi for making calls back to the U.S., Canada, and Per Call Countries, Territories, and Protectorates - no extra SIM needed.

Per Call Countries, Territories, and Protectorates:

(Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Johnston Atoll, Midway Atoll, and Wake Island. Republic currently includes outbound calls to per call countries as part of our monthly calling plans, but reserves the right to charge up to $0.50 per minute.)

How can I make sure that I am connected to WiFi all the time?

First, make sure you set up your phone to access the WiFi networks you use most. Your phone will remember those networks and connect to them automatically. Many public hotspots don’t require any password at all. But for those that do, you’ll need to set them up on your first visit.

How do I make calls over WiFi?

Making a call over WiFi is super easy! Dial as you would on any other call. Once you’re connected to a WiFi network, save the login info. Your Republic smartphone will connect and route calls over the saved WiFi network automatically. To learn more about WiFi calling click here.

How much does domestic voice roaming cost? International?

With Republic, you can roam domestically for free. Although we don’t offer cellular service internationally at this time, your Republic Wireless phone can place calls over WiFi from anywhere in the world to the U.S. You can also make and receive calls to and from Canadian telephone numbers without incurring international roaming or long distance charges.
